Swedish Beef Stew

4-6 portions

  • 1-1,5 kg beef roast or brisket, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 3 yellow onions, sliced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 12 pepper corns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2,5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper, ground
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 dl water

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together in the Nordic Cooker ceramic bowl, but sprinkle in the flour before adding the water. Cook on low temperature for 8-10 hours or on high temperature for 4-5 hours. Serve with boiled potatoes and red beets.

Dinner is ready!

 

Mushroom Risotto

4-6 portions

  • 3,5 dl, approx. 300 grams, arborio rice
  • 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 75 grams chanterelle mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 yellow onions, finely chopped
  • 1,5 dl white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes, crumbled
  • 1 l water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1,5 dl cream
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese, newly grated
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients, except the cream and parsley, in the Nordic Cooker ceramic bowl. Cook on low temperature for 7-8 hours or on high temperature for 3-4 hours. Add the cream and stir. Garnish with parsley. Serve with bread.

Dinner is ready!

 

Honey Peanut Chicken

4-6 portions

  • 1-1,5 kg chicken breast fillets, frozen or fresh
  • 400 grams tomatoes, diced with juice
  • 12 mushrooms, in quarters
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 dl smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tsp curry powder spice
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together in the Nordic Cooker ceramic bowl. Cook on low temperature for 7-8 hours or on high temperature for 3-4 hours. Serve with jasmine rice.

For thicker sauce, stir in 2 tbsp flour with a little water and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes on high temperature.

Dinner is ready!
